Known issues — DuraPress series
- "Low toner" shown immediately after a refilled or refurbished cartridge is fitted.
The engine reads a chip counter, not true toner level, on all three models; this is a
cartridge-sensor limitation, not a firmware bug.
- DX-5400DN drops off the network after a router reboot. Set a DHCP reservation for
the printer’s MAC address, or assign a static IP from the control panel; the unit does
not currently retry DHCP on its own after the lease fails to renew.
- DX-7700 finisher jams on the first job after a long idle period. Run the finisher
self-test from Settings › Maintenance before the first job of the day if the unit has
been idle overnight; a firmware fix is tracked for a future V6x release.
